Active Driving Assistance

Active Driving Assistance combines stand-alone ADAS functions to help control speed, braking and steering for short periods.
Sometimes referred to as ‘autopilot’, ‘highway assist’ or ‘traffic jam assist’, it combines functions like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keeping Assistance to maintain vehicle speed, following distance and lane position. As this is considered a ‘convenience’ function that only assists control of your vehicle for a short time, you must remain in control of the vehicle at all times with your hands on the steering wheel.
