Hill Descent Assist

Hill Descent Assist increases vehicle control while driving down a steep slope, automatically adjusting use of the brakes to maintain a safe speed and stop slipping.

If your vehicle exceeds a safe downhill speed, the function further applies the brakes. The driver usually activates Hill Descent Assist using a dashboard switch or button before descending.
